that was me!

Maximus Pussimus I
(the First - and only!)

On Wednesday 5th May 2004
I was fortunate enough to bamboozle Pat and Richard into giving me a home.
At that time I was in the care of nice people,
Doctor Claire and Nurse Sam, at the Dernancourt Veterinary Clinic.

Sam took a couple of photos of me and them, but her camera uses a low-tech
thing called a film, which had to be processed later.
We got copies, and here they are...

I think they are a handsome couple Bet they don't know what they are in for though!

OOOps! I think I may have conveyed the wrong impression before...
they are fine loving caring professional people there,
and I enjoyed their company a lot, and miss them a bit, as well.

But, with the arrival of two new prospective servants for me,
who wanted to provide and run my own house for me, things changed
and I was rather pleased when they agreed to take me home.

Within the space of minutes I had their home organised under my control.
First things first, I had to make sure they knew where my litter tray should go.
Please click on each photo to see a decent sized picture in a seperate window...

pretty obvious what this is for, isn't it?

Immediately after this, they were made aware of other standard protocols such as feeding and watering,
although things got a bit strained when they decided they didn't like my sharing Richard's bedside glass
of water. After all, I was ONLY saving him the trouble of refilling my water bowl more frequently.

what are you doing there? this is really the laptop's principal purpose this looks a lot of fun...

Above we have my showing them how computer literate I am - with Pat's laptop - and below is how I like
to have them arrange themselves to make it possible to watch the television in the corner of the bedroom.

I also appreciate taking naps in comfortable places.
They seem to understand that a (feline) person needs them. Here are several favourite ones.

is that f-o-o-d? ummm... you are disturbing me... ... if I pay no attention, he might go away... watch out, you've woken me up;
prepare for some action here...

All things being considered, I think I shall be staying. I have trained them reasonably well.
